Ajvar ist eine klassische Paste/Brotaufstrich aus der Balkan-Küche – hauchzart, aromatisch und vollmundig. Sie wird aus gerösteten roten Paprika und meist auch Auberginen (manchmal milder Varianten ohne Aubergine) hergestellt. Croaterra setzt auf diese traditionelle Rezeptur mit intensiver Paprikanote, sanftem Rauch-Charakter und leichter Säure.

Rote Paprika (70–85 %), Auberginen (weniger – ca. 5–25 %), Sonnenblumen- oder Olivenöl, Knoblauch, Apfel- oder Branntweinessig (für mildere Variante), Salz, Pfeffer, ggf. Chili
